XITE Gamharia was started by the Jamshedpur Jesuit Society in 2003 with the objective of providing especially the students of the State of Jharkhand a 3-year integrated and innovative Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Course after their Plus-Two. XLRI, Tata Steel, Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, Citizens of Jamshedpur and the Government of Jharkhand have also played a vital role in creating and translating the vision of XITE into a reality. XITE's primary objective is to groom talented tribal students and others so that they can fulfull their true potential as professional leaders in our modern society. This is achieved through a dedicated team of faculty. Totorials in Computer Science, Mathematics, English, General Knowledge, Communication Skills, Yoga and Meditation, etc. are given to those who require them to complement the rigorous curriculum. The Institute envisions to prepare the students for administrative leadership in the State as well as at the Centre. Skills and techniques for competitive admission tests, civil service examinations, MBA, etc. will be imparted during the BBA (Hons.) Course so that on completion of their graduation the students can appear for them.
